Painting in My Studio Today & Free Painting

I'm painting in my studio today as it is a rainy day here. As I post this painting in progress, I wonder who may be gazing at the artwork in my blog and how it may affect them in their lives. Sometimes, I just want to know. I want to know what kind of paintings you want to see so that I can create them and then make a lot of people happy.

It would make me so happy to know that my art is having a sweet impact on someone's life every day. Is it a happy baby waking up? Is it for you to hang in your home office? Or maybe it's a gift for someone who loves whimsical and happy paintings to hang in their yoga studio? What do you think?

Maybe now is the time to offer a free painting to someone who is ready for a painting somewhere in their life. Let me think about this.

YES, I am going to offer a free commissioned painting to the one who can tell me why they would like a 12x16 painting from me and what they would love to see on canvas. DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS OCTOBER 1!
US residents only please.

Please respond below with the following info:
Why would you like one of my paintings?
What theme or subject would you like to see on canvas?

Thank you lovely blog readers. I am going to be the happiest person to know that the winner of the painting I will select will be created with great love and giving.  ~ Karen

Oh Karen, I should have one of your paintings! I visit your blog everyday just to see happy captured on canvas! You get it....my need for color, color, color! So why do I not have one already? Good question huh? Never really thought about it till now but I don't know many artist who buy other artists work. I am so inspired by so many artist and feel like all of my visual experiences with their work has enriched my own. Lets change that way of thinking! How much more could I learn from you by having one of your original, whimsical, color-infused works to hold, to touch, to view multiple times a day? Now I do like free but I'm going to step it up a bit. I am willing to trade an original painting from you with an original mixed media painting of mine in the same size. Have I got your attention? On to what I would like to see you paint....I think you could do a fabulous job of painting old trucks into a New England landscape, maybe "flower selling" trucks at a farmer's market or country fair. How about a fall landscape with a pumpkin field and a pumpkin truck? Lots of oranges, reds, hot pinks, and turquoise /blues! I'm excited! Pick me, pick me!

Hi Karen! I too follow your arting life and love your work! It's fun, it's happy and lively. My favorite subjects are your birds and flowers as well as the boating paintings. I love the water and miss beach/lake activities. The sailboat images bring me lots of smiles her in Colorado!

Oh, Lucy May has a great idea, too! A trade would be fun! Even if it's at a later date - we should chat.

Have fun painting!

Thanks for the opportunity to win one of your lovelies!
