Missing Lady, my Yellow Lab

I wanted to share some progress on my newest painting. This is one that has a bit of emotion attached to it, as I loved my yellow dog, Lady, so very much. She went to heaven last July. I love to see paintings of yellow labs and thought I'd create this one in honor of her. She loved to just sleep! She was always at my feet in my studio and as I folded laundry, no matter what. She was my best friend and I miss her.

We'll see where this one takes me as I work to complete the painting. :) Thank you.
