Favorite Etsy Shop of the Day

Alma Pottery
Shakuhachi Teapot
Sankeien Gardens
This is how my daughter calls it and I think is
appropiate as my bamboo flute was the
inspiration for the wacky holes in the spout.
The rest of the design is a pretty classic
Japanese tip teapot fully functional.
The torn piece of clay with lovely drawings
on it is my new approach to tile making.
I will use very rough clay as paper and write down
something similar to a diary.
This particular piece is called Sankeien Gardens,
where I had my first tea ceremony on a rainy day.
