Sometimes I go through very long periods of creative artist's block, or what I like to refer to it as a "rejuvenation period". This could happen for weeks at a time, unfortunately. I don't know why, but I just don't produce creative works when this happens. So, when it does, I know I must use the time to read and think about things that I would like to paint. I create the painting in my head over and over again. Then when the time comes to paint I put it all on the canvas.
I have one in my head now. I will be starting this painting in the morning. I'm so happy I finally have broken through my artist's block.
I'll give you a hint...
it will be a tree!
It will be simple!
It will be unique!
I can't wait to start it! Stay tuned.
