On My Easel Tonight

When you see a finished painting
all nice and ready
to be placed in a new home,
you don't usually see the actual process
the artist went through to create it.

I wanted to share my process of beginning a large painting.

It's very personal and thoughtful.

I paint thinking of who would absolutely love it.
The main thing I think about is how will the painting make you feel?

Why do I need to paint it?
Why will it bring someone joy?

Let's see what happens in the next couple of days!

Thanks for following.  ~~ Karen
