Sometimes I just like to take a canvas and experiment with color and design. It may become a painting I love or it may become one that I learn from and go on from there. These are two pieces of a painting that I have been working on for weeks now. I have now realized that this painting is finished and will hang in my studio as a reminder of the struggles I have had as a painter in finding the answer to my quest to create the most amazing composition of color and design.

It amazes me when I look at finished pictures of mine that I had such a struggle with. I wonder how I ever got there! I'm struggling through again today but as you say, we learn from it don't we? Relaxing to paint? No I don't think so! Onwards and upwards....:)
