On the Easel Today

This is a painting I am working on today. I plan on putting in some more moss greens, a bit more blue and who knows what else! But it is not yet complete. It is a 48 wide by 36" tall acrylic painting on 1.5" deep gallery profile stretched canvas. Thank you for stopping by my studio.

I am trying to bring the outside in. It is gorgeous outside, sun shining, temperature about 68 degrees. Hope you like this new painting I just finished this afternoon.

Abstract Art Painting - Red Sky At Night

On my art table this  morning is a painting I have titled, "Red Sky at Night". It's a huge 30 x 30" size gallery profile canvas, 1.5" deep. Earthy tones, red, sienna, gold, umber, blue. It's Getting A Bit Crowded in Here...

My studio this afternoon...after picking up some new custom made canvases from R.

I am looking forward to creating some specially sized paintings for those that would like a commissioned piece. I am moving into larger canvas sizes as this is my passion...also creating work for clients in the home decor market.

Gorgeous Oversize Earthy Red Abstract Painting

I had been working on this painting for a few days every now and then. It was finally completed this afternoon. I love it! It is absolutely gorgeous, raw, and striking. This painting is the largest abstract that I have ever done. I thank God for allowing me to create these paintings and show them to you here.

Inspired by the Sea

Living in Florida is so amazing! Today I am inspired by the calm and awesome sea air.

This one is "Calm Sea Breeze". I hope you like it. It has a bit of texture in it...It's actually lying on it's side so it can finish drying. I enjoyed painting it this morning. Have a wonderful day. -Karen

Good Morning Sleepyhead

Painting Today in My Studio

Today I am loving painting in my studio (it's 35 degrees in Florida!!)...I am doing an absract variation of a painting I did back a couple years ago. I kept thinking about the painting, "Glory", and how I loved the colors I chose to use. Now I want to do a similar painting to see how I have grown artistically in those couple of years. We'll see. I should be listing this painting on Etsy this afternoon if all goes as planned. Stop by later on to see the finished painting.
